Ezekiel's Vision
This presentation is by Jerome Sasanecki on December 13, 2020
Ezekiel 1: 1 - 28
The exiles were physically dislocated from their homeland, psychologically traumatized, spiritually hardened and, because they refused to listen to the prophets, theologically confused. What they needed was a fresh perspective, a new vision to wake them up to reality. That's exactly what God gives Ezekiel, a would-be priest in Babylonian exile. When we are suffering, confused or uncertain about future, Ezekiel's vision of God riding on his strange chariot-throne in pagan territory will wake us up to reality.
