"Government" and "authority" are dirty words in our culture. Many have grown cynical and suspicious of the whole political system. What is the relationship between Christians and their government? How are Christians to be both citizens of their nation and citizens of heaven? We may be surprised (and definitely challenged!) to read what the Apostle Paul says concerning the "governing authorities" in Romans 13.
